As i'm leaving tomorrow to London, and will have to settle for some fish and chips :-) Jos will be preparing on thursday a full flavoured puttanesca.
Made of ingredients found in most Italian larders, this is also known as spaghetti alla buona donna - or "good woman's spaghetti" :-)

Our opening weekend is behind our back, and did we have fun :-) of course we worked our asses of, but being able to do something we love and see happy faces around us was pure pleasure :-)

first day

Well we are that far, it is our first day and reactions are very positive. We are very happy that we can in our own way bring something to our neigborhood. Today on our menu is a vegetarian pita bread, filled with houmus and grilled aubergine with a fresh salad with a ginger dressing mmmmmm :-)
